The principal activity of the Company is investment holding. The principal activities of the subsidiaries of the Company comprise the trading and distribution of electronic products and other merchandise and securities investment and trading.

On 14 November 2007, the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, GR Vietnam Retail Limited, entered into a partnership with Food Company of Ho Chi Minh City, a wholly-owned member of Vietnam Southern Food Corporation, to engage in the operation of convenience store and other retail and commercial businesses in Vietnam.
